I love the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt, “Do something that scares you every day”. I feel like this quote is tied to something bigger… If you take the risks even when you know you could fail, you are on the way to seeing your dreams come true. Never be complacent or settle for what’s easy! Being comfortable is only comfortable for so long until you are bored to death. So go after your dreams, even if they may scare the living daylights out of you. Good day!
This video was taken with a remote control helicopter. Made me pretty dizzy watching it but it’s sick! Get me to San Francisco :)
Optimism is power! Watch this TED Talk about how we can reverse the happiness and success formula so that we no longer equate happiness with success.
"What is the quality of your intent? Certain people have a way of saying things that shake us at the core. Even when the words do not seem harsh or offensive, the impact is shattering. What we could be experiencing is the intent behind the words. When we intend to do good, we do. When we intend to do harm, it happens. What each of us must come to realize is that our intent always comes through. We cannot sugarcoat the feelings in our heart of hearts. The emotion is the energy that motivates. We cannot ignore what we really want to create. We should be honest and do it the way we feel it. What we owe to ourselves and everyone around is to examine the reasons of our true intent. My intent will be evident in the results.”
